Water is the healthiest beverage that can help quench your thirst and make you feel full. Your body needs a lot of water. You need to stay hydrated.
How can you tell if you’re hydrated? Cassey has a simple trick for you. She recommends that you check your urine from time to time. If the color of your urine is on the light side, almost like water, then you’re good to go.
Cassey adds that drinking water helps a lot if you really want to get fit.
Sometimes when you feel hungry and you grab a snack or something, you’re not actually hungry. Your mind is telling you, “Fill up my stomach, fill up stomach!” Sometimes, it is thirst. So the best thing to do, before you eat a meal, I suggest, down a cup of water and then you’ll actually be able to tell when you’re hungry and when you’re full. I actually tried this for a while and it did help me eat less.
So the next time you want to reach for a beverage that can quench your thirst, make sure it’s just plain water. Water is one of the best things you can put in your mouth.
If you have to be careful with the kind of beverage to drink, then you would also have to watch the kind of food that you eat. Below is what Cassey has to say about that.
Cut out the refined carbs and replace them with veggies. So what is a refined carb? A refined carb is something like white rice, white bread, honey, milk, sugar. These things will really get stored in your body as fat if you don’t use the energy right away. What you want to do is to replace the refined carbs with a complex carb. For example, if you’re eating beef and rice for dinner, replace it with beef and broccoli. Broccoli still has carbs to give energy but they are complex carbs and it gives you a lot of fiber into your diet which helps you stay full and eat less … If you are eating your vegetables and your lean proteins, you will still feel energetic.
Finding healthier alternatives to carbs can be a handful. You need to spend a lot of time getting hold of fresh vegetables.

I want this to be an eating clean lifestyle. An eating clean lifestyle, to me, includes fruit because it’s happy, it’s healthy, and it’s delicious. Remember, try to eat fruit before 2 P.M. and you will seriously, seriously see a change in your physique.
Spice Up Your Workout Plan
Getting fit is just not about eating a healthy diet. You need to do more than just eat a good diet to get fit.
As a certified fitness and Pilates instructor, Cassey recommends that you get into a great workout that requires you to lift weights.
Let me tell you a better way to lose weight, look tone, and feel energetic. You need to lift weights. You need to lift something and with Pilates, that counts too. Pilates allows you to use your own body weight to act as resistance and any time your muscles are working like that, you are burning calories. You are working hard. In fact, you continue to burn calories after you work out. With cardio, when you’re done, you’re done.
So spice up your workout plan by doing some weights or Pilates. Be careful and try not to turn into a cardio bunny that spends hours on a treadmill.
Write Down Everything In A Journal

Write down everything you eat and how you feel. It is not homework. It is what you need to do to stay accountable, to be true to yourself and to stop cheating.
If you have a journal … where you can write down your breakfast, your lunch, your snacks, your dinner, and also what you did for your workout. It, seriously, will keep you in line. You really, really need to do that.
